The WebENTRA R500 series is a secure encryption NFC mobile access capable of supporting authentication in mobile devices. Each reader can be configured independently for use in NFC, remote, vicinity or wave modes.

  • Users may use their mobile device to unlock doors 
  • System owners have full control over each mobile device using the IBSSgo cloud management system
  • The R500 can be connected to any traditional access control system for easy upgrade.

MODES OF OPERATION

Near Field Communications (NFC)

  • The NFC mode supports highly secure and intentional operation with the use of contactless smartcards and mobile phones.
    Typical operating range: 5cm

Vicinity

  • The vicinity mode gives users the convenience to unlock a nearby door or barrier from their mobile device by selecting from a list of connected mobile readers.
    Typical operating range: 5m

Wave

  • The wave mode allows users to establish a secure connection between a mobile device and nearby reader with a simple wave. Ideal for busy executives.
    Typical operating range: 50cm

Remote

  • The remote mode allows users to unlock a remote door or barrier from their mobile phone, offering convenience without having to be physically present at the remote location.
